Harrowing and engaging

By Mr T Berriman

Kindle Edition

It has been a while since I read this, and still my mind keeps going back to one particular scene. Once you have read the book you will know which one I am talking about. It is harrowing and disturbing to read, which is a testament to the author’s attempts to evoke the sense of the characters in the reader.

Considering the plot of the story it is hard not to make comparisons with Dan Brown, however I would say that I prefer this author’s style as it feels a lot more real than Dan Brown’s “made for hollywood” writing.

I don’t want to say any more for fear of giving away spoilers so I will end by saying this: I highly recommend this book!

Dramatic Vatican thriller

By Peter

Format: Paperback

This is a real page turner, full of action in the Dan Brown style, but with more finesse. It touches on many current themes – terrorism, child abuse, the threat of the religious right, and change in the Catholic Church with a new Pope. I can’t wait to see the movie!

Destroy the Vatican

By Hilda

Kindle Edition

Great reading, for fans of realistic crime stories, not for the faint-hearted. Colossal mix of terrorism, Vatican intrigues, old family feud, megalomania, police corruption and more.

A great read about what could go on behind the Vatican walls

Von LP Haar

Kindle Edition

This enthralling story leaves you wondering whether this is really what could drive the politics behind the walls of the Vatican. For fans of history and suspense this is a must read.

An absolutely thrilling read

From start to finish a gripping read – great attention to detail without me ever getting disinterested – it would make an excellent movie
